NV CARBONFROM NATURE TO A CLEANER TOMORROW

AGRICULTURAL RESIDUES. LASTING IMPACT.

Turning Agricultural Residues into a Cleaner Future

NV CARBON is developing a scalable platform that transforms regionally available agricultural residues into high-quality biochar through industrial pyrolysis, creating a pathway for durable carbon removal and circular use of biomass. Our first commercial project is being developed around peanut shells in Osmaniye.

OSMANİYE PROJECT

Built Close to the Feedstock

Our first commercial module is being developed in Osmaniye, Türkiye, one of the country's key peanut-processing regions. It is planned around approximately 3,000 tonnes per year of locally generated peanut shells and will establish the technical and commercial foundation for future scale-up.

TECHNOLOGY

From Agricultural Residues to Biochar

Selected agricultural residues are processed under controlled, oxygen-limited thermal conditions. The planned industrial system focuses on process control, energy efficiency, syngas utilization, emissions management and traceable production data. Feedstocks will be introduced only after technical characterization and pyrolysis validation.

PRODUCTS & CO-PRODUCTS

From Agricultural Residues to High-Value Carbon Products

NV CARBON is developing an integrated biomass conversion platform designed to transform agricultural residues into high-value carbon products through controlled pyrolysis. Product specifications and commercial availability will be confirmed following commissioning, process optimization and independent laboratory testing.

Biochar
PRIMARY PRODUCT — UNDER DEVELOPMENT

01 — BIOCHAR

Agricultural Residues. Stable Carbon. Long-Term Value.

Selected agricultural residues are converted through controlled pyrolysis into a stable, carbon-rich biochar designed for agricultural, soil and selected industrial applications. Peanut shells are the primary feedstock for the first Osmaniye project.

Target applications

Soil improvement • Growing media • Organic fertilizer formulations • Carbon removal projects • Selected industrial applications

Development target

High fixed-carbon biochar with consistent quality and traceable biomass origin.

02 — PYROLYSIS OIL / BIO-OIL

Recovering Additional Value from Biomass

Depending on the final process configuration, condensable fractions generated during pyrolysis may be recovered as pyrolysis oil. Potential applications will be determined according to chemical characterization, process configuration and applicable regulatory requirements.

Activated carbon
PHASE 2 — PLANNED

03 — ACTIVATED CARBON

From Biochar to Advanced Carbon Materials

NV CARBON's Phase 2 development roadmap includes the evaluation of activated carbon production from selected biomass-derived carbon. Product development will focus on activation performance, surface area, pore structure and application-specific adsorption characteristics.

Potential markets

Water treatment • Air purification • Industrial filtration • Chemical processing

CARBON REMOVAL

From Biogenic Carbon to Durable Carbon Removal

Plants capture atmospheric CO₂ as they grow. When agricultural residues are converted into biochar under appropriate conditions, a portion of that biogenic carbon can be stabilized for long periods instead of rapidly returning to the atmosphere. NV CARBON is developing an MRV-ready pathway from the design stage.

CO₂ → Agricultural Biomass → Pyrolysis → Biochar → Traceable End Use → Durable Carbon Storage

Carbon removal quantities and eligibility will be determined through actual production data, lifecycle assessment and applicable certification methodologies.

RESOURCE EFFICIENCY

Designed for Circular Energy Use

The planned process is designed to recover and utilize pyrolysis gases generated during carbonization, reducing dependence on external thermal energy after start-up where technically feasible. Process heat integration and emissions control will form part of the final engineering design.

SCALING CARBON REMOVAL

From a Regional Feedstock to a Scalable Platform

The Osmaniye project represents NV CARBON's first commercial module. Following technical and commercial validation, the platform is intended to scale through a diversified feedstock strategy. Peanut shells remain the Phase 1 feedstock, while suitable olive-derived biomass in Osmaniye, the Aegean and Marmara regions, together with other regional agricultural residues, will be evaluated through characterization and pyrolysis trials.

*The scale-up objective is a development target, not current certified capacity. Actual removal volumes will depend on feedstock availability, biochar yield and carbon content, lifecycle assessment, MRV, eligible end-use and applicable certification requirements.

BEYOND BIOCHAR

Phase 2: Advanced Carbon Materials

As the production platform matures, NV CARBON intends to evaluate higher-value carbon materials, including activated carbon derived from suitable biomass-based carbon intermediates. Development will depend on activation trials and application-specific product specifications.
